Joseph is the story of a boy, a father's favoritism, his brother's jealousy, and how sticking to your dreams can overcome any obstacle, no matter how impossible it may seem. We're reminded that sometimes we need to be humbled before seeking our destiny, and in Joseph, 'Elvis lives', dreams are revealed, and magic happens. In a show where hope, faith and morals prevail, I invite you to grow with Joseph and allow yourself to be enveloped with an eclectic musical variety that is witty, vibrant, uplifting and just sheer fun!

Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice's enduringly popular musical favorite Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat comes to Etobicoke Musical Productions!
Originally written March 01, 1968 for the end-of-term concert at St. Paul's Jr. School in London, Joseph was an immediate success (all 15 minutes of it!). Eventually, revision after revision, the full-length version of Joseph as we know it today made it to Broadway in 1982.
When Joseph opened at Ford's Theatre, the Washington Post wrote: "A joyous Dreamcoat". Joseph had the whole opening night house laughing and swaying and clapping to the music, and sent them out smiling into the spring night." Please join us this fall for EMP's dynamic production of Joseph.
Nominated for 7 Tony Awards in 1982 including:
